Coming soon to Android

Running late? Tell only the clients it affects.

Say how late you are. The app works out whose appointments move and gets their messages ready. You check them, and you press send.

One delay. Three clients. Two messages.

Say you're 20 minutes behind just before Sarah's 9:00. Sarah and James will both see you late, so a message is ready for each of them. The free half hour before Priya soaks up the delay, so she isn't bothered at all.

How it works

Set up once. After that, telling the right people takes seconds.

  1. Connect your calendar

Google Calendar, or the calendar already on your phone. The app only reads it and never changes a booking.

  2. Say how late you are

One tap from the app, the home-screen widget or the quick-settings tile: 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes, or your own number.

  3. See who's affected

The app works out which of today's appointments move, by how much, and which don't need to hear about it.

  4. Send from your own phone

Each message opens in WhatsApp or your text messages with the wording ready. You press send, one client at a time.

Who it's for

Any work where your day is a run of one-to-one bookings.

Made for you if

  • you work on your own
  • your day is back-to-back booked appointments or one-to-one meetings
  • each booking is with one person
  • clients come to you, or you meet online
  • you keep in touch by WhatsApp or text

Not for you yet if

  • you drive between clients: travel time isn't included yet
  • your bookings are classes or group sessions
  • several people share one diary
  • your bookings are only in iCloud and you use Android

What it will never do

Your clients trust you. These are the lines the app doesn't cross.

Message anyone on its own

It prepares the words. Sending is always your tap, in your own app.

Guess who a client is

If it can't tell who an appointment is with, it asks you. No message is prepared until you've said.

Upload your address book

Contacts are searched on your phone. Only the one client you confirm is saved.

Show adverts or track you

No adverts, no analytics and no AI. Every decision follows fixed rules.

Questions

Something else you'd like to know? We read every email.

Email hello@imbloodylate.com
Does it send messages for me?

No. It writes the message and opens WhatsApp or your text messages with it filled in. You press send. The app can't send texts by itself and doesn't ask for permission to.

Will it change my calendar?

Never. It only reads your bookings. Nothing in your calendar is created, moved or deleted.

Which calendars does it work with?

Google Calendar, or any calendar already on your Android phone, such as Exchange or Outlook. iCloud calendars can't be read on Android.

What if it doesn't know who an appointment is with?

It asks you once. You pick the client from your contacts or type their number, and you can tell it to remember. Until then, no message is prepared for that appointment.

I travel between clients. Will it work for me?

Not properly yet. The app treats the gaps between appointments as time you can catch up, so it can't allow for a drive. It asks during setup, and if you travel it reminds you on every preview.

Where is my data kept?

On Google Cloud in London, with phone numbers, appointment titles and messages encrypted. You can delete your account from the app at any time. The privacy policy has every detail.
